“Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.” – Joshua J. Marine
Junior high was a time where things were rough and kind of taken lightly. Even though I enjoyed junior high and made the best of it, it was not challenging in any areas of my life. Then I got my AMES acceptance letter and knew the challenges were going to began. I started my freshman year with mainly all A's and was extremely proud of myself since it was nothing like junior high, but then my sophomore year came. That was when I got my first B. I was so dissapointed in myself. I thought my life was over. This was my biggest challenge to over come: not being the straight A student I was used to being. Then my junior year hit and it was the same; not getting just A's. This is what made my life find the meaning it was supposed to. I knew I wasnt perfect and I was okay with that. I knew that I was going to struggle but thats okay because that is life. I found the meaning to be happy even when it wont go my way. I learned that high school isnt perfect, so I knew college life would be the same all over and that was okay.
